MISSIONS

INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES (MIDNORTH COAST)

Locally, we sow by undertaking outreaches and supporting communities in our region from Forster, Taree, Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

PHILIPPINES

Philippines Missions – MangoTree Ministry

Pastor Dean, wife Diana and son Dylan started MangoTree Ministry in the province of La Union in the town of Bauang when they wanted to celebrate Christmas December 2010. Sitting on the balcony in quiet time with the Lord Dean decided to celebrate with the whole community when the Lord said, "bring the church to the community and share the true meaning of Christmas.” Dean and his faithful family shared love, fellowship, food and Jesus with the community along with assistance from local churches under the old mango tree and the MangoTree Ministry was born.

Our passion -

“My heart is for every person because I believe there is no one who is insignificant in the purpose of God.”

At MangoTree Ministry we:-

  • Encouraging the community by sharing the message of salvation, mentoring, prayer, cell groups, bible study and follow-up.

  • Providing food and medical expenses

  • Sponsoring education

  • Being the first to provide food to our community during the pandemic

  • Supplying Bibles to pastors and church members

  • Distributing clothes

  • Prison visits where we pray and share the love of Jesus and model forgiveness

  • Weekly Church Service and monthly Children's Ministry

  • Educating students in schools about the dangers of drugs and how it can impact their life. A local government initiative consisting of people from the following - Education Department, Police, Health Department and Spiritual leaders selected by each community.

Our mission is to:

"To spread love, compassion, and hope by serving and empowering individuals and communities in need, while sharing the message of faith and fostering intercultural understanding and unity."

VIETNAM

Hope Homestead, founded in 2019,  has been instrumental in bringing the revelational truth of God’s word to Vietnam through the training, discipleship, and impartation of biblical knowledge. They’ve also translated Andrew Wommack and Barry Bennett's’ books into Vietnamese and Hmong. This includes the Discipleship Evangelism (DE); The New You and Holy Spirit and Did God do this to me?

They have four arms to their ministry; Daughters of the King camps, teaching the DE to Provincial leaders (who in turn partner with local churches to disciple their leaders), discipling young Vietnamese through the Hope Homestead Discipleship House, and organizing and hosting  mission trips for churches and Bible Colleges.

A practical application of their ministry includes visits to the Hmong in the mountains where food, clothing and medicine is sent, accompanied by the teaching of the word. They also support many local ministries which include 5 churches, 2 drug rehabilitation centres, 2 orphanages, and 2 lanes of sick cancer patients in Ho Chi Minh City.

Led by our missions coordinators Greg & Raelene Race our missions program is titled 'Sow Good, Sow Far'.

As a church, we believe and trust that God will use what we sow to provide for our missionary work.

Currently we are supporting the Mid North Coast Indigenous Communities, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
